DEVILS APPOINT MITCHELL

 

The Wantirna South Football Club is very pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Mitchell as its non-playing coach for seasons 2010 and 2011. 

Mitchell was most recently coach of the Doncaster FC for just over two years (2007 – early 2009) in a playing then non playing coaching role. In his previous playing roles Mitchell had played at both the North Ringwood and The Basin FC’s, captaining The Basin for five years in EFL division two.  

With Wantirna South’s relegation to division two in 2010 Mitchell will bring with him a recent knowledge of the division and its teams. He also brings with him a good blend of experience, innovative methods relevant to the modern game, leadership and teaching and development skills that will assist the Devils young list to achieve its full potential.
