ELLIS RETURNS TO EFL
The Coldstream Football Club is proud to announce the signing of Sean Ellis as senior coach for the 2010 season. With Sean's history of success, and a great work ethic both as a player and coach, the club looks forward to next season with much hope and anticipation.
Ellis had a long history as a player at the Lilydale FC, and won the division two league Wright Medal in 2001 and 2002 with the Falcons. He became playing coach of Lilydale from 2003 – 2005 and led them to the division two premiership in his first season as coach. Since leaving Lilydale in 2006 Ellis has been involved as a player at both The Basin and Healesville, and was also coach of Healesville in 2008.
Joining Ellis at Coldstream is Rhian Greaves as reserves coach, a signing that see's Greaves return to the club he won a premiership at in 2001.
Ellis takes over from Leam Doughty who coached the club for three seasons from 2007 – 2009.
